Heavy Mental - 2013
This is the album called Heavy Mental. It was released in 2013 and includes 11 tunes.
For this album Themis joined forces with Dimitris Sourlas on bass and Yiannis Triferoulis on drums. Their project was named Recesion, with a deliberate misspelling since Recession is originally spelled with double 's' instead of one. All of the music and lyrics were written by Themis except for track 4 (Dark Days), the music of which was composed by Dimitris Sourlas and track 5 (They're like the sun) which is a poem written by Matianna Naka.
The guitar parts were recorded at Themis's home studio, while the vocals, bass and drum parts were recorded at Pandora's Box Studios in Larissa, Greece. The album was mixed and engineered at Pandora's Box Studios, Larissa, Greece, by Loukas Avgerinos.
The album was funded by Themis's family.
